Stego Expands Texas/Louisiana Operations with Veteran Sales Manager
HOUSTON -- Stego Industries, LLC, the construction industry leader in below-slab moisture vapor protection, introduced veteran regional sales manager Mike McCarthy as its new Regional Manager for Greater Houston and Southern Louisiana Monday.
McCarthy, a ten-year veteran of Stego's team of experts in concrete construction, immediately assumes all managerial duties servicing Stego's network of distributors, contractors and specifiers in the architecture and engineering design communities.
"I am delighted to add Mike to our managerial ranks in one of the most important construction markets in North America," said Scott Balo, Stego's Regional Director for Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. "He will not only immediately build our reputation in the region, but will bring new expertise that will benefit all of our stakeholders."
McCarthy is one of the longest-serving managers in Stego's nearly twenty-year history. He is credited with growing key markets for Stego in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Hawaii.
A long-time member of the Construction Specification Institute (CSI), McCarthy is also a Certified Construction Product Representative (CCPR) who has given hundreds of accreditied seminars to architects, engineers, inspectors, homebuilders and contractors throughout North America. He also has extensive field experience working with a variety of trades and professionals on job sites.

McCarthy holds a Bachelor's and Master of Business Administration from Gonzaga University. He will live in Houston with his wife and one-year-old daughter.
