Pango Sealant is a self-leveling, two-component epoxy sealant that is able to flow into and fill those hard-to-reach gaps around tightly spaced slab penetrations. It is designed to be used as a physical barrier to subterranean termites in conjunction with Pango Claw and Pango Sealant Form. Pango Sealant can be used as an alternate to Pango Bond or detail patches for penetrations in Pango Wrap.
Its many features include:
Pango Sealant is a critical component to the Pango Wrap Termite/Vapor Barrier solution. It can be used as an alternate to detail patches for penetrations in Pango Wrap. Green construction codes such as the National Green Building Standard (NGBS or ICC 700) are moving the market towards more sustainable protection methods for termite control. As a physical barrier, Pango Sealant is aligned with the principles of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach to termite protection.
Pango Wrap is Home Innovation NGBS Green Certified. Four points can be earned from the NGBS under Termite Barrier (602.1.5) where a continuous physical foundation termite barrier with low toxicity and no chemical treatments are installed in geographical areas with subterranean termite infestation potential. Pango Wrap is safe for the environment**.
