LAS VEGAS - Stego Industries, the construction industry leader in below-slab moisture vapor protection, announced Wednesday at the 2014 World of Concrete show the promotion of SCOTT BALO as the new Regional Director of Stego's business operations in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
Balo will bring five years of well-cultivated relationships in the region's design community to the position, along with detailed level of service and expertise delivered to Stego's distribution network and end users. He replaces longtime Greater Texas Regional Director RYAN GOODWIN, who will be elevated to a new research and development position within Stego's corporate leadership. Goodwin will continue to advise business operations and provide training in the region.
"I am thrilled by the prospect of what Scott brings to this region and our stakeholders," Goodwin said. "I have tremendous confidence in Scott and his ability to lead our Texas operations going forward."
Balo will continue to be supported by Stego Regional Manager RICHARD MARRIOTT (South Texas and Louisiana) and new Regional Associate JOE WALSH, who will assume day-to-day management of Central Texas on location from Austin.
The new Greater Texas Regional Director has deep roots to the area. He is a graduate of Baylor University and has served the Greater Dallas area for Stego since 2008.
"The Texas region has always been of great strategic importance to Stego," Stego Chief Executive Officer Paul J. Blasdel said. "This development in our corporate structure will deliver immediate results to our collaborators in the design community and our critical distribution network across the Sun Belt."
