All Stego-represented products are manufactured in the United States (ask us about our ARRA 2009 and other documentation). Like with everything Stego Industries does, our manufacturing facilities strive to reduce waste and conserve energy.
The manufacturing operations behind our wraps reduce air emissions through the use of multiple, highly efficient oxidizers. A closed-cycle system, which uses scrap from one process as an input for another, reduces waste that would otherwise travel to a landfill. Like any large-scale industrial facility, energy usage is a major concern. Efficient lighting systems and a heat reclamation system reduce energy usage and improve efficiency, and new solutions continue to be evaluated to enhance these efforts.
Our wrap manufacturing location also takes great care in its quality control. Stego prides itself in this realm with all of its products and accessories. Periodic quality assurance and control tests ensure both raw materials and finished products conform to our high standards for quality. Moreover, regular evaluation of equipment and processes guarantee proper function and performance. These efforts to meet and exceed performance thresholds never stop. Our customers expect this and we do too.
Stego Tape and Stego Crete Claw Tape's manufacturing facility demonstrates a similar commitment to environmental stewardship.
The adhesives used in the production of both accessories have low volatile organic compound (VOC) content due to the use of efficient drying systems paired with oxidizers that remove over 99% of these VOCs. Stego prides itself in quality control in all of its products and accessories, and Stego Tape and Stego Crete Claw are no exception. A constant evaluation of equipment and processes ensures the minimum amount of resources needed to manufacture these products. Current research focuses on the improvement of efficiency in adhesive drying functions to conserve energy, the utilization of renewable energy to minimize carbon footprint, and the implementation of state-of-the-art technology to continue to reduce the VOC content of our adhesives.
